Chur

 
Chur lies in the kanton Graubünden, also known as Heidi-land (since this is where Heidi is from). It is the only area in Switzerland where Rhaeto-Romanic is an official language. Chur is situated at the end of the Rhine valley, just before the Rhine turns north towards Zürich. As you can see from the pictures below city still has various picturesque areas.
