Avignon

Avignon is called the city of the Popes, because it hosts the "Palais des Papes". Apart from this cross-over between a cathedral and a fort, the city has a historic center and some other interesting sights. Unfortunately, we only partly enjoyed our visit, because Kyrah hadn't fallen asleep in the car (as we had hoped) and, having missed her afternoon nap, she was whining a lot.
