Chitral and Kalash valley
Chitral is one of the most Northern cities of Pakistan. Near Chitral is a remote valley, where the Kalash live. These people live a simple life of farming and herding. They have few luxuries. They have a small water powered electricity generator, but the electricity is only used for the convenience of the few tourists (there was one other family when we were there).
During one of our walks we encountered an outdoor class (8th picture in the gallery below).
Since the teacher was momentarily gone, Benjamin (who was learning to become a teacher) was greeted by a "Good mo'ning, what is your nam?" Benjamin eagerly tried to give them a geography lesson, but according to the class all counties were called "Pakistan".
