Ricon de la Vieja

 
Ricon de la Vieja, in the north-western part of Costa Rica, is a dry forest. In contrast to the wet and cloud forests, the dry forest is much less of a jungle and looks more like forests in temperate regions. Except that in various places there are sulvur lakes, boiling mud pools, and fume holes.
