Costa Rica

In April 2003 we visited Costa Rica. This is still one of our better holidays and we can recommend this country to everyone who likes to travel around, see nature and optionally also likes to spend a few days at the beach. Costa Rica has many nature reserves and also a great 5* beach resort (Playa Conchal). The country is safe to travel by yourself. Most main roads are decent, although we recommend a 4-wheel drive if you plan to visit the cloud forest.
