Yosemite national park

North from Kings Canyon and west of San Francisco is Yosemite national park. This park has some beautiful scenery and spectacular waterfalls. Unfortunately, it has become very well known and is usually crowded with tourists. We were extra unlucky in this regard, because when we visited this park it turned out to be the national free parks weekend, meaning free admission and (too) many families visiting the park during that weekend. :-(
