Alice Springs

 
Alice Springs is with 70.000 inhabitants the largest town in the centre of Australia. Although it was originally founded as a telegraph station and later hosted the flying doctor's base, it's main reason for existence today is tourism.
Alice Springs has a nice downtown area with some historic buildings and a few aboriginal art shops, but we only took a few pictures.
