Adelaide

Adelaide is a city on the south coast of Australia, from where we started our trip through the outback. We only had one afternoon in Adelaide and, based on the advice of our taxi driver, decided to visit the Cleland Wildlife Park, where we could pet Koala's and feed kangaroos.

At first the kangaroos and wallabies seemed a bit shy, except for one, which was also a bit fatter than the others, and who we named Dikkie Dik. Later more kangaroos ate out of our hands, some of them even holding our hands while munching their feed.
