Dylan Aidan Gieskens

 

 

Dylan, pronounced as Dil-an, comes from the Irish name Dillon and means "like a son" and also "like a lion". We have chosen this name, because we wanted to give him a name with an Irish origin, and Dylan was a name we both liked. Melanie had a strong preference for Aidan as a first name, but we thought he would then have to spell his name each and everytime he would introduce himself... The name Aidan is also an Irish name, meaning "warm; little fire".
